Rachel Anderson is a mission-driven operational leader with deep expertise in strengthening organizational infrastructure through system design, financial oversight, and cross-functional leadership. She brings a strong track record of translating strategy into execution and building the operational foundations that support sustainable growth.

Rachel previously served as Chief Operating Officer at Cupid’s Charity, where she led finance, human resources, compliance, payroll, insurance, and risk management while strengthening organizational systems and staffing structures. Following Cupid’s Charity’s merger with the Children’s Tumor Foundation, she continued in a senior leadership role, guiding enterprise-wide operations and technology strategy. At the Children’s Tumor Foundation, she led a full CRM transformation, enhanced data governance practices, and streamlined system integrations to support fundraising, constituent engagement, and overall organizational performance.

Rachel is known for her enthusiastic, people-centered leadership style and her ability to align operational excellence with mission impact. She is passionate about building strong teams, fostering collaboration, and ensuring organizations have the infrastructure needed to thrive.

Rachel joined the Phoenix Society for Burn Survivors team in January 2026 and looks forward to advancing the organization’s mission in support of the burn survivor community. She currently resides in El Paso, Texas with her husband and two border collies.
