Program Manager - Education + Personal Development

As the Program Manager of Education and Personal Development, Jessica works closely with Phoenix Society’s supportive and young adult programming and educational resources. She is a Certified Child Life Specialist and Licensed/Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist with a Certified Trauma Practitioner-Clinical credential. 

With over 20 years of experience, Jess’s expertise includes supportive and therapeutic programming and resources for those impacted by illness and injury. She has experience working in hospital settings including burn centers and pediatric aftercare as well as workshops for young adults, families, burn camps, and retreats, both in the U.S. and abroad. Jess also has nearly two decades of combined community and nonprofit work behind her, including developing Phoenix Society’s Young Adult Peer Mentor and Phoenix Fellowship programs. Additionally, Jess is responsible for leading the Young Adult Workshop programming, overseeing the Phoenix Education Grant (PEG), and evolving online educational curriculums and resources.
