Carrie Tully, Ph.D., has been the pediatric burn psychologist at Children’s National Hospital since 2017. She practices trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, and trains psychology externs, interns, and postdoctoral fellows to grow the network of mental health professionals with burn psychology expertise. Dr. Tully’s research focuses on family factors associated with resilience and psychosocial health after unintentional injuries, and she has a specific interest in parenting and working with young children. Dr. Tully feels honored to walk beside kids and families through their recovery from burn injuries and learns something new daily from the brave kids and parents she sees.
