Continue your healing while supporting others

By offering your support and guidance to another burn survivor or loved one, you strengthen their recovery journey and yours.

Phoenix SOAR Peer Supporters

Phoenix SOAR (Survivors Offering Assistance in Recovery) is a community of more than 1,000 volunteers who support other burn survivors and loved ones on their journeys of transformational healing. As a Phoenix SOAR Peer Supporter, you will share knowledge and offer life-changing companionship to fellow members of the burn community.

You can be a positive force in someone’s life.

As we got to talking, I realized we had a lot in common. I was smiling and I was laughing, and that was the first time in six weeks that had happened.

Peer Mentors

Peer Mentors are young adult burn survivors (ages 18-25) who model empowered healing to their peers. These young leaders help forge meaningful relationships and share their stories of growth as a beacon of hope for other young adults at Phoenix World Burn Congress. In addition to supporting others on their healing journeys, Peer Mentors develop valuable skills in therapeutic programming and group facilitation.

Your leadership can help another young burn survivor.
