Phoenix WBC is October 4-7 in Dallas, TX.
Registration is $285 on or before September 6, 2017. Registration will be $385 after September 6, 2017. The registration fee includes: Wednesday evening's kick-off event, Saturday evening's closing banquet, one breakfast, and two coffee breaks. Height restrictions: 6.5 feet at hotel side entrance, 7 feet at first-floor conference side. RV Parking is not available.
Local downtown pay lots and garages are located within close proximity.
The Dallas Fire and Rescue Department and DFW Airport Department of Public Safety Fire Service will assist attendees from the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (Airport code DFW) and Dallas Love Field (Airport code DAL) to the Sheraton Dallas Hotel. On Sunday, after Phoenix World Burn Congress has concluded, the firefighters will also shuttle you back. The firefighters will be easily recognizable by their uniform appearance and signage.

Phoenix World Burn Congress is also offering family-focused workshops, free of charge and open to all conference attendees. These workshops have been designed to meet the specific needs of parents and families navigating through the journey of burn recovery. Read more details about each one.
Phoenix World Burn Congress boasts many breakout topics catering to attendees from all areas of the burn world. Topics range from relevant skills, reclaiming life after a burn injury, overcoming trauma, addiction and recovery issues to reflective processing. There will be a special session dedicated to advocacy and the importance of building codes, presented by Lorraine Carli, VP of Outreach and Advocacy for the National Fire Protection Association. Phoenix Society is excited to offer Phoenix UBelong -- Families, young adults, teens, and kids together in Burn Recovery. Registration is open to burn survivors, siblings, and children of adult survivors, ages 7-17 years old and young adults ages 18-25 years old. Read more about Phoenix UBelong. It is a one-of-a-kind program designed to positively inspire and support children and teens.
There are many ways to get assistance to attend Phoenix World Burn Congress 2017! Consider reaching out to your local burn center, foundation, or local fire service. Many of these organizations help burn survivors and their family members attend. The Phoenix World Burn Congress George Pessotti Scholarship applications are due to July 1, 2017. Contact the Phoenix Society our call us at 800-888-2876 for other ideas and suggestions.
There is no special dress code for Phoenix World Burn Congress. Bring clothing that you are comfortable wearing and weather appropriate. We highly suggest checking the local weather a few days before arrival to help guide you with what to pack. We do recommend bringing a sweater/light jacket for indoors as some rooms will be cooler than others depending on the air conditioning controls.
Saturday evening's Closing Banquet does not have a dress code. Some attendees take the opportunity to dress up and others come in casual attire to the banquet. It is really about what makes you the most comfortable!
