ANGER is a powerful emotion. We have a choice as to how we use the energy of anger to make a positive or negative difference in the world. We have the power of this choice. 

 

CONSTRUCTIVE USES OF ANGER

  • use anger as fuel for needed change
  • plant a garden
  • plant a tree
  • make a difference in the life of a child
  • volunteer for a worthy cause
  • jog
  • walk
  • play ball, (soccer, racquet, baseball, etc..)
  • help someone who needs help
  • find a way to let go
  • help a child
  • help yourself
  • help an animal
  • join a recovery group
  • separate from life draining systems and relationships
  • make positive change
  • make a difference in the world
  • set a limit, (just say “no”)
  • walk away
  • end a negative conversation
  • take responsibility for problems
  • use anger for creative problem solving
