Find Support 24/7
At the Phoenix Society, we know how important community is in the recovery process after you or a loved one has experienced a trauma. This is why we have recently created the Phoenix Society discussion forum. With this powerful new feature, our network of burn survivors and their loved ones is available at your fingertips 24/7. It’s an amazing way for all the members of our community to get connected and get (or give) support, advice, and encouragement.
While seeking professional help is recommended for any persistent symptoms—physical, psychological, or social—that interfere with your ability to perform your day-to-day responsibilities or that degrade your quality of life, it is also important to seek out the help and support of individuals who care about you and who are familiar with the struggles you are experiencing.
The forum also allows individuals and groups to continue conversations that are started in the Online Peer Support Chat and to raise new issues that we didn’t have time to discuss.
Additional Available Support
Online Peer Support Chat
In order to facilitate community engagement, the Phoenix Society developed a weekly online peer support chat. Every Wednesday from 9:00 to 10:30 PM EST, members of our online community can come together to seek help, to discuss issues, and to offer support. But we recognize that this timeframe doesn’t work for everyone, and an hour and a half often seems very short when you truly need help or advice.
