Registration for the 2013 Chicago Marathon should open Febuary 1st, 2013. Complete the Team Phoenix online participation form now so you are ready to go as soon as marathon registration opens -- it's only open less than a week! Team Phoenix members must agree to the following

• Register for the Chicago Marathon at www.chicagomarathon.com and pay the $145 registration fee.  Indicate you are running for TEAM PHOENIX

• Agree to a $1,000 fundraising goal. A special TEAM PHOENIX web page has been established to aid each runner in raising support. This personal fundraising page will accept online donations and will help you spread the word to ensure you reach your fundraising goal

• Be responsible for your own transportation and travel arrangements. Hotel and airline discount information will be available soon

about team phoenix and the chicago marathon

This is a charity event benefiting The Phoenix Society for Burn Survivors. There are no other Chicago Marathon charity running teams which represent burn survivors, their families, or burn care professionals. 

The Chicago Marathon is during National Fire Prevention Week, a time we all focus on preventing fires and burns. The 26.2 mile course starts, ends and runs through the location of the Great Chicago fire, a historic event that changed the history of codes and building standards.
