Burn Support NewsEMOTIONAL - PSYCHOLOGICAL - SOCIALBurn Support News (BSN) publishes articles on the emotional, psychological, and social aspects of burn recovery. Each issue includes feature stories on burn survivors and their family members who are successfully traveling the road to recovery. BSN also includes information about burn prevention programs, the latest news in the burn community, original works written by burn survivors, and information on burn care and safety legislation.
Burn Support News is an excellent source of information for burn survivors and their families, health care workers, firefighters, and burn foundations. The Phoenix Society sends complimentary copies to all burn centers in North America. A survey of burn centers indicates that 80% of those who returned the survey use BSN as an educational tool for staff members.
