Megan Geerling was first introduced to the burn community in 1999 while working as a Paralegal for a law firm in Kalamazoo, MI who specializes in cases involving severe burn injuries. Through legally assisting burn survivors and their families, Megan gained an appreciation for the strength and courage burn survivors possess and a desire to do more to assist those affected by a burn injury. At the end of 2004, she moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan and came to work for the Phoenix Society and has done a variety of administrative and special project jobs while here. Megan now works part-time as the Development Coordinator.
