Personal statement: "It is a privilege to work with burn survivors and their families. Helping people to recover and get their life back on track after this sort of devastating injury can be challenging, but is always rewarding. I especially enjoy helping those who serve the burn survivor population to understand and integrate ways to facilitate emotional, psychological, and spiritual healing into their programs. This is one way that I can have a positive impact on helping many children and adults to recover and reclaim life after burn injury. Another is being a member of the Professional Advisory Committee of the Phoenix Society, an organization that I am honored to be affiliated with." Megan 2007
