Working together – with the support of caring burn survivors and supporters like you – we make the process of recovery easier and more compassionate. When you join the Phoenix Society as a volunteer, you will play an important role in letting burn survivors and their loved ones know that they are not alone. Getting involved with the Phoenix Society is a powerful way to help others get back to living.
Nothing heals people like other people – a truth that is proven every day within the burn community. Each year, 40,000 people are hospitalized because of a burn injury. And in 2013 alone, the Phoenix Society reached more than 48,000 people through our educational programs, peer-to peer support, online community, and events.
Volunteers at the Phoenix Society help in our office, at the annual Phoenix World Burn Congress, and in many of our programs. If you are interested in supporting the Phoenix Society as a volunteer, please contact us or call us at 1-800-888-2876. Learn more about our volunteer opportunities.
